About Us

A.S.A. was founded by Brenda Wessely, an retired educator with more than thirty years of experience working with young people and more than ten years of experience at placing athletes in schools that represent real opportunities for them.

A.S.A. clients know  that the assistance they receive will be individualized and tailored to their specific educational needs and their athletic goals. Beginning with an in-home assessment and a multipage questionnaire that pinpoints the client's interests, abilities, and educational goals, A.S.A. then researches the schools and provides a selection of choices that match the client’s criteria. Additionally, a client profile and an introductory coach letter are prepared unique to each client's skills, position or skill level, and interests.

Throughout the process, whether it's to assist with NCAA registration, SAT preparation, meeting to answer questions, or help with filling in applications, A.S.A. is there with the client. E-mail, phone, and personal contact continues through the entire recruitment process until the client reaches a decision regarding university placement.

All of A.S.A.'s clients who followed through on the recommendations provided received coach contacts from multiple schools. Although A.S.A. cannot guarantee that every client will achieve an athletic scholarship, successful placement of clients has been very high and of those choosing to remain in Canada, most had U.S. offers.

A.S.A clients are everywhere!
